Silver Gelatin Prints
The following prints were made during the materials & process-II module at NID. This month long course was led by Mr. Srinivas Kuruganti where we learned all about the processes involved in analogue photography. From shooting images on film cameras during an early morning Ahmedabad heritage walk, developing the negatives to making silver gelatin prints, this module tested our patience and understanding of the medium. These images were shot on Nikon FM3 and Hasselblad 500 CM. These prints were later showcased in a student exhibition, "Alchemy" at the design gallery in NID Gandhinagar.
